Among 18-24 year olds, the percentage of high school graduates dropped 12.5% from 2005-2008 while the percentage of with some college or associate’s degree increased 11.3%. In that same age category, the percentage of 18-24 year olds with a bachelor’s degree or higher increased 1.5%; however, from 2007 to 2008, Erie County experienced a 2.1% decrease.</div>

While not a huge increase, it does represent a positive trend in early childhood education for Erie County. </div>
