Additionally, a business climate that supports innovation and entrepreneurs promotes Brain Gain vs. Brain Drain.”</div>

The four nonprofits began collaborating in August of 2010 to monitor and benchmark community progress in eight major topical areas for the next decade via www.ErieVitalSigns.org. “Vital Signs will help us maintain focus on key community issues,” said Mike Batchelor, president of The Erie Community Foundation. “Objective data will clearly demonstrate areas of community pride and areas where we are falling short.”  </div>
