Erie County has slightly more adults with no personal health care provider than the state of Pennsylvania, but has a lower rate than the nation.
Those reporting the highest percent without a personal health care provider include males (15%), those between the ages of 18-29 (25%), and those earning less than $25,000 a year (20%). As is the case with many health indicators, education and income levels have a strong influence on health status.
