The evolution and understanding of Erie's workforce, as it changes and improves and where its strengths and weaknesses lie, and describes the opportunities for employers to capitalize on the talent pool of Erie Count through its movement geographically as well as demographically.
- It is important to understand the flow of a population to or from a select geography, in order to shape policy in regards to the ever-changing demographic breakdown of that place. Likewise, to know the ebb and flow of a select demographic can be an indicator of the assets, lifestyle, cost of living within that place.
- Understand the pool of talent and what surplus or deficit of individuals that the County presents, which may be felt by local and prospective business entities.
